FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Michigan Open Carry, Inc. is organizing a rally in Monroe, Michigan -- the home of Senate Majority Leader Randy Richardville.  The rally will be held on August 25, 2012 between 11 AM and 5 PM.  The purpose of this rally is to push the Michigan Senate (via Mr. Richardville) to consider adoption of SB-59 in the form it was reported out of the Senate Natural Resources committee.  Attendees will be carrying various signs and be encouraged to openly carry holstered handguns.

Monroe was chosen as a location because we understand Mr. Richardville is currently the "road block" in bringing this bill to the Senate Floor for a vote.
